Nassau Candy Conducts Nationwide Recall Of Various Pistachio Products
Recall Reason:The following recall has been announced because the products may be contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections, especially in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems.

Situation:
Nassau Candy of Hicksville, NY is voluntarily recalling various Pistachio products. This recall action is being taken due to the expanded recall activities for the 2008 crop of In-Shell Pistachios distributed by Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Inc. in Terra Bella, California.
